Technological superiority from design to commissioning
A modern purpose-built machine is now more than just a mechanical device; it is also a network endpoint, an integrated element of the 4.0 manufacturing model, and an ergonomic and safe element of the working environment for the workers. Konkoly Electro engineers combine the latest technologies to create a smart, efficient and long-term sustainable device:
Digital Twin and AR simulation: Today, it is expected that a target machine should function flawlessly virtually before it is physically built. With the help of 3D modeling and AR glasses (e.g. HoloLens), we test the operation of the machine, cycle times and its fit into the existing production line already in the design phase. This results in a transparent investment, reduces risks and minimizes the time for on-site commissioning.
Integrated quality control and machine vision: We do not add quality assurance to the system as an afterthought, but rather integrate it deeply into the technology. We work with industrial camera systems, IP67-rated sensors and triggered recordings, so that objective measurement results are generated for each piece at critical points. The data can be immediately integrated into MES or ERP systems, so that the causes of errors can be decoded in real time, which radically reduces downtime.
Functional machine safety (Safety PLC): Safety starts with risk analysis (ISO 12100). We integrate safety functions (EN ISO 13849-1) into the control system in such a way that their reliability can be calculated and verified (Performance Level). The design and documentation of our machines already comply with the new EU Machinery Regulation (Machinery Regulation 2023/1230), which will apply from 2027.
Energy efficiency and ESG compliance: When designing the machines, we optimize the masses moved, avoid idle runs and, where possible, use electric drives instead of expensive compressed air. Our PLC programming ensures that individual auxiliary systems only operate when they are really needed.

The process of custom machine manufacturing – Transparency at every step
Our professional team works with you from the assessment of the task to be solved, to commissioning and, if required, to operation. Our dedicated project management colleagues provide full supervision and coordination throughout the entire project life cycle.
Joint work stations:
Technical consultation and project planning: The process starts with a thorough technical needs assessment, consultation and then a contract, followed by a transparent project plan.
Design and simulation: Mechanical and electrical design, PLC programming, then a design jury verifying the virtual operation. During the design, everything from the use of materials to the mechanical and electronic operation to the physical design serves efficiency and the lowest possible maintenance requirements.
Production and assembly: We manufacture the individual parts with our own modern CNC machining centers, and then the assembly of the machine begins.
Testing and preliminary acceptance: Before the machine leaves our Jászberény plant, it is subjected to rigorous testing and joint preliminary acceptance.
Installation and support: Delivery, on-site installation and operator training. We provide detailed documentation, maintenance beyond the warranty period and remote monitoring on request.
