KONKOLY ELECTRO Gyártó és Karbantárto Kft. won a conditionally refundable European Union grant of HUF 287.08 million in the GINOP_PLUSZ-1.1.2-21 call for tenders. Within the framework of the development with a total budget of HUF 574.16 million, a modern complex corporate development was implemented. The project was implemented within the framework of the Széchenyi Terv Plusz program.
The development involved the construction of an industrial hall of nearly 1500 m2, divided into two phases. Thanks to the built building, we are able to repair previously manufactured special purpose machines and equipment within and beyond the warranty period, and the resulting area provides us with a location for the necessary installations and tests. The new building also includes the necessary electrical network, compressed air and other networks supporting the operation (IT, access control system, property protection).
In addition to the hall construction, a new milling machine was also purchased, which ensures the flexible production of custom parts. With the purchased machines and the expansion of maintenance services, we can now cover a larger part of our service range than with previous production, but for this we had to develop space and a machine stock suitable for the production of custom parts. With the development, we have become able to integrate and put into function the remote monitoring and maintenance of the delivered custom-made machines, thus increasing the results of our service and customer satisfaction. The new hall area created also serves the space requirements for possible custom-made machine conversions and machines returned for major maintenance. The solar panel ensures the reduction of our ecological footprint and costs.
This development significantly increases our capabilities. It means the expansion of production line simulation as an existing service, because with the acquired software, robot movements can now be analyzed in more depth. The above technological expansion will increase the number, quality, and satisfaction of our services provided to customers. The engineer can help the repairman colleague on site with a device that uses virtual reality, thus increasing our service speed, market uniqueness, and competitive advantage.
We have acquired a unique solution specifically tailored to our company that connects the technician working at a remote location and the engineer on site. In practice, the technician has free hands and can easily see the documentation for the machine to be repaired in a virtual space, and the engineer in the office can also see the technician's work remotely and help in real-time. One of the tools of this system is the HOLO LENS glasses. We can repair any machine while sitting in an "armchair". This allows us to be pioneers in the market according to our plans, which allows us to grow further and increase our efficiency, and we get closer to our main goal of becoming one of the TOP 5 industrial automation companies in Hungary.
It is important that we can improve our efficiency and increase our profitability, and this can only be achieved by introducing new services and production structures. As a result of the development, we can ensure future development by increasing our capabilities.
The location of the implementation is located at 4 Fémnyomy utca in Jászberény.
The actual completion of the development is 2024.02.29.
